The Story Society is one of three university-wide Strategic Research Centres tasked with enhancing research activities across and beyond Bath Spa University. We explore the many uses and values of stories across borders; in particular, we are dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of storytelling to tackle pressing societal challenges. We nurture a creative ecology where diverse stories can thrive, collaborating across sectors to promote storytelling for the public good. Our vision is simple: one world, many stories. 

The Story Society delivers StoryArcs, alongside other programmes such as the creative writing incubator with a social conscience, Paper Nations, and the low residency international PhD Programme, The Story Foundry.
